Oxygen Sensor

I use a Bosch 17205 with my AEM guage. If you call AEM they will tell you that they run a specially calibrated O2 Sensor which may be true but I am on my second Bosch with good results.

to my understanding there is a bosch chip in the AEM gauge which will only function with a bosch senser. also the connector is the same type. you can get a replacement sensor at most local auto parts stores for $50 ish bucks.

The bosch sensor for the AEM guage has a chip or something built into the connector. It is a little more expensive than the typical bosch sensor. I bought my last one at Autozone and they will warranty it for a year I think. I have had one replaced and they gave me an extra year on the new one.

Thanks for the info. The reason I asked was the parts store in the small town where I live can not get the Bosch one. Have to get it in the city.
