I have a 2011 propane kit on my 2011 sno pro
I am currently running dalton adjustable 73g weights running an insert, totaling 75g weight in the primary
12lbs boost at 6000-8000ft in western Canada, geared up to a 57 tooth
the sled works very well!
If there was one thing that I was not the happiest with is the laggy bottom end, it certainly is not as responsive as the gas turbo setup i also own, the pump/race gas setup I have is very responsive, but the top end certainly doesnt pull like the smelly cat.
i currently engage around the 4200 mark, looking at raising the engaement to clutch out the lag
Hopefully the pipe that the OVS boys are working on will clean it up.
Overall Im pretty happy, one full 100lb propane bottle transferring into the sled (bottle upside down) will fill the sled twice.
Mileage....rode bottomless powder for 20 miles wide open! and 40miles of trails to get up there and back, total of 60miles and still could see propane in the sight glasses.
just as far as propane goes, it is gonna not make the same power per # of boost due to slightly less engery per volume.. althought most dont care as you can turn it up a few more # and your still ahead and cheaper then race gas.
