This is straight from the heart of MPS (Chad Christensen of Idaho Falls). Our country is in jeopardy and we are hurting in so many ways. If you don't see what is going on with this nation by now...with all the chit that is happening in government...then it is time to see.
All of us have fundamental differences on here. We are human and we are all different. However, I STRONGLY believe most of us are patriots. I believe most of us would sacrifice in order that our loved ones continue to enjoy freedoms that we have.
I love my country. Do not confuse that statement with our current tyrannical government. I love my country based on the Constitution and even the freedoms we still enjoy today. These freedoms are becoming more limited everyday and those limitations will eventually cease because good men and women will not stand by and watch what happened in previous history with other nations....happen in our own nation. I believe the good men and women of this nation will stand up to the impeding threat of tyranny. I love my country because I know there are good men and women out there that will stand up when it is time. This forum is filled with patriots.
We argue and bicker on this forum...but are we all really that different. We love our freedom to sled...and to do what our passions guide us to do. Some of us are bigger a$$holes than others. Some of us are make bigger mistakes than others...some of us are more selfish than others...but it boils down that I believe most of us here would do what is right in the end to ensure our offspring's freedom and liberty.
This country is still the greatest country this planet has ever known because we value what God has given us and intended for us. God gave us free agency. God intended for all of us to have free agency to choose as we wanted...to make mistakes...to succeed....to live as we desire....to love as we desire. What country besides the one we live in has ever given the freedom to do this as much as our country has? This is because men inspired of God wrote the Constitution so all men/women may have this freedom at its fullest.
I have good friends around me and on here. I will fight for my freedom and yours when it comes time....and I am sorry to say that time is coming. It may not be today...it may not be tomorrow or next year, but it is very close. I feel it in my heart.
I have enjoyed good years of freedom enjoying what God has given me. I have enjoyed seeing my son make his first kill as a hunter. I enjoyed (just yesterday) seeing my father give my son a rifle for Christmas that belonged to his deceased father. This rifle has now been in the hands of four generations and I pray I see the day my son give it to his son. I will give my life to make this a reality for my son and my grandson.
I joined the US Army right after 911 because I felt a sense of duty and it was time to get off my a$$. I still feel a sense of duty to most...if not all of you on here and to all good Americans. We are a blessed and chosen people. God sent us to this nation for a reason. It wasn't by mistake....but he will not do everything for us.
I am thankful for this Christmas season. I love my savior Jesus Christ. I will continue to teach my sons his lessons and his examples.
I wish to harm no one...but I will not hesitate to preserve the rights, freedoms, and liberties God has given us.
Over 200 years ago men and women talked about this very subject. If they had allowed King George to tax them and be under his control they would still enjoy more freedom than we enjoy now....yet they revolted and won their complete freedom that God intended them to have. Farmers, ranchers, and common people defeated the most elite military force in the world! Luck? Absolutely not...God had their back the entire time.
