We shortened another 3'-4' on the other pass and he likes to pull it closer for some reason. I asked a few times when he was riding the new board only to say its fine
4 weeks since the mishap...not much change in the last week.
Soon as this wound heals I can start some rehab...finger tight and unable to straighten without pain or effort.
Still electric and still feels like its stuck in a closed door

about 20min ago, my sis inlaw attempted to remove the last "timber" from my hand.
almost chickened out, after the litocaine....uploading the 3/4" piece of fire wood now.
Chapter closed..hand injuries suck.

only if you wont make fun...losing a limb/digit is no comparison to this joke.
we thought it was a chip of bark they missed, but obviously the 2 previous attempts lead us to believe nothing was nothing in there...
then tonite we pull out this twig, like a magician pulling out magic hankys...
bear with me, we did this the old fashion way at home, so i'm grinning and sinning, and celebrating this sags is over.
it entered thru the palm of my hand and exited next to my pinky nuckle.
I'm a little pissed I'm not on the list

Was windy in the am for a while thn turned to glass most of the day until the storms got close.
Fished with a buddy in the am so it was a long day. On the water around 520 and off little before 7 if I recall.
Surfing without the rope no problem now..... Is nice but easy to lose the wave
Anyways to the pics and vids

Wow, those pics of the finger are graphic, sorry for your loss Diz. That sucks. I have a buddy here who was surfing last week and almost lost his middle finger - he got really lucky and just tore all the ligaments. And PP, glad you got the rest of the wood out of the hand. Heal up you guys!
