Original Phazer mods?

Tried to do a search but taking forever to weed through all the new Phazer stuff. We are thinking about buying an old phazer for our son for Christmas. I am not sure what year. It is black with gold lettering.

I would like to make this into a good sled for him that he can use out in the Mtn's with us. So I was wondering if any of you have a good recipe to make a cool phazer for him. Some pics of builds or links to threads would be much appreciated. I think we are going to get a little SRV for my daughter. Any suggestions on that would be cool as well, THANKS!!

Phazer mods - pipe, port, thin head gasket, flatslides, cold air kit or pod filters, toss oil injection and mix gas, 136 or 144 track, 1.5 or so lug, whatever rear skid you want to toss in there. They can make a real reliable 80 hp or so and weigh almost nothing. There are a couple of threads going on them yet. One was for sale. Have fun.
