Original 900 Owners

luv my 900

I bought an 06 snow check race graphics 151 900 new in dec. of 05. I have done a few things to it. Slp air box and Pipe 163" track and a few other things. I ride with an 07 700 and a couple of 08 800's. My 900 does a good job of leading that pack. So when they ask me when am I going to trade for a newer one, I just say what's the point.

Just wondering how many original owners are still out there. I bought my nine in dec. 05 and have stuck with it through the years and I'm glad that I did. These really are some great sleds....with a little work!

Bought mine in Dec.'06. '06, 900 fusion. I have had more fun playing, modding, and ridding this machine than any other I've owned. Plan on upgrade once POO actualy makes something comparable,,,The 800 flop doesn't impresss me at all.,, But I'll probably always have the Fusion in my stable. Wish POO would learn to get them right before delivery though.

I Sno Checked my 900RMK x 159 in 05, picked it up in October, first ride that November. The first crank failed at 3150 miles, it has 8800 miles on it now.

Its had it's share of problems, Polaris was of no help solving any of them, however, my Dealer was supportive, ..which helped, as well, some of the original fellow owners on Sno-West were of assistance for sure. I eventually got the beast tamed, and most importantly, got it to be reliable.

Hopefully it will make this one more season, if so, it will be well over 10,000 miles!!!!

Some mods, lots of maintinance, TLC and Duct tape......

It has been an experience, but it still ROCKS!!!!!

Purchased new 06 900 RMK 159" in march of 06. Still riding her...... did a bunch of SLP mods to it...... has 1900 miles everything is still original. I don't blow belts
I ride steep and deep days and the new sleds still find it tough to keep up to the old 9.

I bought my 05 900 159 in late 07, it was brand new in the crate, and they had another so my brother came and bought it. Around 1000 miles on each and they are great sleds, no problems thanks to many of you guys :)

Bought my '06 900 brand new in spring of '08 ... and yes i'm in Maryland where we get no snow ... except for tomorrow, calling for 12-24 out of this nor'easter!

Bought mine brand new as a holdover in January of 2007.

I've only got 1600 miles on it too.

Buuuuuuuut.....my 9 has become semi-retired as of today :o

It's working as of now, but it's officially designed "backup sled" as of today.

my dad still has his sence december of 04! it runs good when it wants to just cant figure that junker out anymore. just bogs, one plug per ride on. back fires and bogs. wide open you better be hanging on cuzz thats when she rips. last winter he did injectors, stator, fuel pump, ignition coil ectt...... stilll bogs and one plug per ride loads up...... and one know what else? would you have to get a reflash with new injectors??? or maybe its crank seals?? i donno!...

Snowchecked mine after Expo in West Yellowstone in '04. 50th Anv RMK 166 Has a "few" scratches on it after the trailer rode it down the highway, but pryied it off and went riding that day anyway. Mostly stock with all the "right" upgrades.
Nice to watch my buddies use NOS on there 800's to keep up!!!!! It is a friggin TANK!!
