O'Reilly

I didn't hear or read that, don't know anything about it.
But I am confident that the left are totally overestimating oRiellys significance at FNC. They're talking as if this will bring Fox to it's knees! Lol!

He was/is an old blowhard that thinks way more of himself than any of his viewers do.

Fox news won't miss a beat.

I don't know about Tinkerbell either but I did hear they lost 60 sponsors. That can't be good.

So, has anyone watched or listened to him since Glen beck picked him up?
Not me.

How about Megan Kelly now that she's on NBC?
Yeah, me neither.

How about Greta van sustern at msnbc?
No?

Or Gretchen Carlson wherever she went?
Nope?

Or Allison Camerata over at CNN I believe?
Who?

Point being that no one person carries so much clout that their absence makes a significant differece.

And Fox News, the only fair and balanced network will do just fine no matter who leaves.

I don't know that I have ever listened to any of the people mentioned above. My parents tried to get my to read O'riley's book about financial planning or something(perhaps a different O'Riley?) but it was incredibly basic stuff kids should have learned in their 8th grade junior achievement class.

My point being I don't find that listening to anyone whose job it is to provide "news" every day to be worth listening to because they will spin everything every day as if it is some sort of disaster or important ground breaking story since that is what reels people in. Reading stories online is a far faster and easier way to get your information and you can correct slants easier by excluding sentences based on the structure that indicates assumptions or anything that guides you to feel one way or another based on the facts.

I have a friend who is very technology savvy and I have been talking with him about creating a sort of filter comparable to a Spanish to English translator that you copy/paste stories into and it spits out the factual information and removes (mis)leading adjectives and assumptions drawn, usually irresponsibly, from what is presented. I'll let you all know when we IPO :face-icon-small-coo

I'm still laughing about anyone claiming Fox News is actually "Fair and Balanced."

Just because the scale never moves, doesn't mean it's balanced. Someone's just standing on the far right side of the scale.
