Oregon Riding Pics Take em' and Post em'

Friday tomorrow! Got a week off, gonna go ride Thursday in the woods and grab a campsite then come back to town and pick up the kiddies and the Motorhome and head up until Sunday. Got some shop stuff I want to do then since B is going with one of his buds for airplane rides and fireworks for the 4th trying to talk the little woman into going over to the coast and take the Yxz out for the day. 2 days of riding in one week sounds so sweet...

I swear I posted some pics from camping last weekend, seems to have disappeared. Going riding tomorrow then more camping next weekend :)

Monster ride yesterday, it was the day of the butterfly. Thousands of those things everywhere. Had to stop a ton of times to get them out of my helmut. At first tried to miss them but after about 30 minutes I realized it was gonna be impossible. Luckily by about 2 oclock they had gone down to just hundreds ;) If you are a deer hunter think this is gonna be the best season in a long time. Have seen more deer this year than ever. The lame winter has let way more survive and they have multiplied. Kill em' all!!! Did even see an elk yesterday, which was pretty unusual for where and the elevation I was riding. Headed over to Apple Creek and actually found an apple tree, didn't know they grew that high up...

Got to go camping alone this week, so awesome :) Rode 2 days straight all day, was gonna be 3 but got stung by a couple of nasty bees and my clutch hand swelled so bad I couldn't use it, bummer. Did find a new swimming hole on Boulder Creek with some cool rocks to dive off of.

Perfect day at the coast yesterday, warm with sunny blue skies and tons of wind. Was like riding pavement all day. B is stepping up his game and starting to hit the biggest dunes:face-icon-small-coo

Dance all you want, it will make it snow somewhere :) You ever fix your quad? Going to pick up a new truck this week and need to take it somewhere to break it in. A nice ride at the coast sounds like fun!

Flying down to Palm Springs tomorrow to pick up my new tow rig :) Looks like no new sled for me this year...

Yes sir got it up and running!! And hey welcome to the stinky diesel club? is like to go out for one last sand trip this season beforot time to clean them and put away again!

Let me know when you are ready to go, I'm in. Yes it is a sad day when you have to join the S.A.D club, stinky azzed diesels, but they only make the 6.2l now for gas and it has less torque than the 10 cyl does. Plus people are trying to sell them for the same price as a diesel.

I hate F-ing deer, I hate F-ing deer, I hate F-ing deer!!! 8 years ago one ran into me on my motorcycle, nearly killed me and put me in the hospital. Tonight 2 of the stupid creatures tried to smash up my new truck. Luckily it's super high and the pathetic excuses for a living life form got to meet my running board and back tire as their worthless lives were extinguished. Had to wash their sorry azz hair and blood of the back of my truck. They have to be the stupidest creatures on the planet...

Tough time of year to be a farmer;)

Been a week and getting pretty close to having the truck all set up exactly how I want it. Just need a couple of little trim pieces and it will be as mint as you'll find :face-icon-small-coo Still have to figure out how a few things work, like the 2 dvd players, and how to look up the alarm camera online. Was gonna put on the Amp electric running boards, but after the deer incident I don't think I'm gonna part with the ones on it. Maybe I'll just have trenchdigger make some old man hoop steps to weld on to them so getting in and out of the beast is a little easier. 37 inch tires and 8 inches of lift make it hard on the elderly.

Nick, John is talking about going camping next weekend over at Horsfall Beach so me and B are going to go over on Saturday for the day. Think my black sled will match nicely and look pretty bad azzed loaded up in the bed this winter :face-icon-small-ton

I think she’ll look Purdy up there;) glad you like the truck it be good to break trail this year;) and I’m going try do one last beach trip here towards end of October. You still have my number yeah?
