Oregon Avalanches This Weekend

There were a couple of avalanches that caught snowmobiliers in Oregon this weekend. More rare in Oregon, but not unheard of in these areas.

it is crazy that we had it out. Our group was not planning to go in due to the low snow condition. However, one of our group did go in and it was hell to get back out. We left a rev....

That's not something that one normally catches on video. Sorry to hear about the Rev......but you can know in your heart you did the right thing in going to try to help someone out. In these kind of situations, it's best to do what you can. I know I would have went after witnessing something like that.....and would have worried about the rest later. Thumbs up to you guys for doing what you could to help!!!!!!!!

**Just a note for others, there is *language* in this video......as I would expect in a situation like this. Just shows the intensity of the situation.

Great footage Cheyne. I'm still amazed that the camera was 'out' at the time of the slide, what are the chances...? One lucky dude at the bottom of that hill. I hope he went home and bought a lottery ticket! Glad everything turned out to be ok
