About to plave an order.what are your experiances with this company? I have read a few bad reviews and do they give snowest members a discount.I tried phoning their toll free # and knowone answered in the middle of the buiseness day-redflag? THks

I have ordered with them a couple times. Shipping has always been quick and they got my orders right. Last time I ordered something for someone for Christmas and they changed their mind. So I called and called and called couldn't get ahold of anyone at firstplaceparts. I finally sent a pm to them here on snowest and the owner contacted me and made everything right. Since they came through on every other occasion I have ordered from them and they made everything right last time I placed another order with them last night.

I was just in their store this morning here in my home town. They are good people, just extremely busy, and sometimes under staffed. They have always called me at home when my order comes in. The store closes at 4pm daily, cst. They may still be online, but no longer answering the phone. I have noticed more people working there, since moving into their new store.

The people there are very good and every order I have ever done with them, and it has been a lot has been good. Many of the people in this industry do not understand timelines and they expect everyone to drop everything and cater to their needs.

This time of year many manufacturers are running out of product or have sold out completely of some sizes and or color ways!!

They are good people that work very hard and have a business that is growing rapidly.

But even if an item is backordered or out of stock a vendor should at least update the person who placed the order.....Right? I mean that is basic customer service.


I have not ordered from First Place Parts, but as you have seen there are some mixed reviews here on Snowest. However I have yet to see one bad review of Michelle (freeagent) @ Oregon Trial sports or Paul @ Sled Solutions. I have ordered from both of these guys and when you call someone answers the phone.

Got my helmet yesterday, it was on back order so thats what caused the delay. I will in the future order from first place parts, they sent me a great product at a good price.
