Ordered one up yesterday! They are on backorder till the 28th of October. I will post up pics as soon as it shows up.

Outstanding.
As soon as you get it out for a ride let everyone know what you think of the new package.

Did you guys know its only available in the USA...canada doesnt get the offer....we always get shafted!!!

Why the heck would it make any difference where you live if the dealer does the upgrade installation?

"Yamaha canada" isnt offering it to there dealers.
The snow is to deep in Canada!:face-icon-small-coo
It really is to bad, the warranty aspect would be pretty nice. There are still alot of other good options for low boost kits. Alpine, MCX, Ulmer, etc.

My question is: when the warranty is up can you add a new fuel controller, head shim, or maybe bigger injectors to get more boost with the existing setup? Or will the turbo that is on there only put out the 8psi claimed? I think it would be cool to have a warrantied turbo and then when it's up spend a couple hundred bucks and be right there with the big boys.

I think there are alot of riders that would buy a new nytro with a dealer installed kit that had "warranty" even up here in canada......I just cant believe they would do it in the USA and not here....whats the diff?? THey want market share dont they? What better way to get it away from doo.....:face-icon-small-con

There has to be a reason, we just don't know what it is yet.

We where as surprised as anyone that they left out our good friends to the north :face-icon-small-dis The good news is we offer the stage one kit and sell better than half of all our SCs to canadians.
We can also upgrade your yamaha 180 kit to run as much as 16 pounds at low elevation as it is the same blower as our stage1 kit.
Im not sure if you can turn up the push kit. I cant imagine it wouldnt make more boost if you asked it.

just holler at a US buddy, am sure we would hook you up...that ole Michelle has never let a buddy down yet :)

Almost everywhere I've ridden in B.C. starts at 2000 - 3000 ft and peaks in the 5000-7000 ft range. A 180 pump turbo is plenty safe below the elivations by most aftermarket manufacturers standards but is likely pushing the comfort level of the Yamaha Warranty dept.

Two markets Us and Canada

U.S Yamaha took on the kit and Yamaha Canada did not. That does not mean its not available it just means you can either buy it from US Yamaha dealer or Brown's Leisure World is going to be the Distributor for Canada. Note it will not have same benefits as the state guy,s IE warranties or factory programs but its the same kit. He sighed a deal that he can not sell the kit to any one in states but Yamaha but out of states he can.

The way our kits are set up they will run 5-6 pounds at 8k feet well within the safe pump gas range down to 6k. The reason there is not a kit for lower elevations is because we ran out of time to to do the duribility test and develope a pump safe setup at low elevations. If you were to run the Yamaha 180 SC kit at sea level it would make 10-11 lbs. (not pump gas safe) not to mention the stock nytro fuel system will not support that much boost.
