ORANGE CRUSH

NEW PICS!

THIS IS MOST OF WHAT I HAVE COMPLETED SO FAR WORKING ON WIRING AND CURRENTLY WAITING FOR MY PIPES TO BE WELDED UP AFTER FITTING THEM!

I AM PLANNING ON A BRACE BETWEEN STEERING TOWERS! AND ONE ALONG THE CLUTCH SIDE FROM FRONT TO BACK ALSO! THINKING OF A BRACE FROM TOP CENTER EITHER OVER ENGINE OR TWO DOWN EACH SIDE OF STEERING!

Should have new pics soon! Pipes are finnished going to wrap them asap! No snow so no riding yet!

It handles tons better! Steering was moved forward and is a bit lighter in the front very noticeable when keeping on a side hill!

I'm lovin this build. Can't wait to see a video of it on the snow. Always loved the sheer madness of power my 900 carb had, but it always handled like a pig. You might have me thinking of a possible summer build if I could get my hands on the parts. Did you vent the cowl for fresh air for filters?

Nice work man!!! Would be a real "what the hell" when you hear that thing rip past with the twins on it.. That 900 has such a distinctive sound.. I'd love to see a vid of this thing in action as well. Nice work on having the balls to go for it!

I do have video of it running on trailer but haven't had much luck down loading it! I will keep trying to post it!

I rode with RCR3 yesterday and this sled is the best sounding Cat I have heard. I need to get my HD Camcorder fixed so I can film this sled bangin through the trees. It runs good and he needs to adjust his suspension to keep the front end down due to packing the ski's to much. He did a killer job on it and once he gets the suspension to work with the change he done with the motor swap this sled will turn some heads.

Very cool build and can't wait to ride it next ride we go on. I will get some GoPro footage of it.

Hey maybe try putting it on you tube then just put a link to it in your post.. Pretty straight forward posting on you tube...

I am going to try and get some footage of this sled today nothing great being I don't have a GO PRO YET! I will also show the first video of it running on the trailer at first startup!

END OF SEASON REVIEW:

1. NEED NEW STEERING COLUMN KEPT BREAKING WELDS ON THE SOFT METAL!
2. REPLACED HELIX AFTER SHEARING THE SCREWS!

OVER ALL THIS SLED HAULS @$$! NEW 37° HELIX BROUGHT RPMS DOWN A LITTLE BUT HAS NOT EFFECTED CLIMBING OR DEEP SNOW ABILITY!

THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS AND INTEREST!
I WILL POST ALL UPDATES WITH PICS IF POSSIBLE!

RCR3

7-8000ft. Elevation at the time RPMS DROPPING DOWN TO 78-7900. CHANGED PRIMARY SPRING BACK UP TO 8-8100. But it seems that 83-8400 has more power!

Very COOL build! Got me thinking tonight... I have a 900 cat motor I was going to rebuild without a home... and my '07 M8, hmmm..... I might be getting in touch with ya this summer!
