opinions on single cab truck

all ive drove is regular cabs, like mentioned before throw a tool box in and your good to go. if your lookin for somethin thats pretty cheap to maintane but can take a beating and last for ever id suggest a 73-87 chev. the only down fall is it wont get the fuel mileage of the yota. but you can find them for dirt cheap and parts are also cheap as he!!. my first truck was a 73 and i loved it was a offroadin sum B. but then i wanted somethin a little nicer so i upgraded to a '71 :D

i think those old chevys look great, but im loyal to toyota. ive seen my dads, friends, and girls chevy crapp out for no reason, and unless im looking for a diesel, i wont get anything but toyota. I know they break down too, but just not as much in my mind. thnks for all the helpful input though guys....

there's no way 4 girls with merc jackets are getting in a toyota! unless just leaving marks bar and you stack 'em in the back, it's not gonna happen!

there's a reason I got my wife in SE MN!! Course now are you stopping at Marks on pay day at the pallet factory or stoping at Pier 65 on 4th of July weekend?

As a fellow toyota fan let's hear some specs! 2.7 or 3.4,what lift and tires etc?

2001 tacoma single cab, 120000 miles, 3 inch skyjacker suspension lift, black 15 inch alloy rims, 33 pro comp mud terrains, 3.4 L V6, manual, and white. If i end up getting it im going to add a 2 inch body left....

Nice, I wish my truck had the 3.4 instead of the 3.0(three point slow) haha

haha yea i decided i better get as much as i can to spin those 33s. I forgot to add, the shop wants 5 grand for it...another thing is right now it has some fancier rims on it, but they said they could probably swap those for a more basic rim and new set of tires...
