Opinions on dark colored trailers

How's the color on a dark trailer gonna hold up vs a white trailer? Say a black trailer. Is it going to look good years down the road or would white be a smarter choice? I know white would be easier to keep clean but I've seen a dark gun metal enclosed pace makes that I really like.

Dark gray holds up well, black? not unless you like the buff and wax the side of a house. My friends gray is 3 yrs older than the black one and looks newer. no brushes. pressure washer steam cleaner. 02

Personally I would say anything but black or white... I see so many white trailers running around that are stained yellowish or rusty colored and I can imagine black would scratch pretty easy.

Thanks guys. I'll have to take a picture and upload it of the one I'm leaning towards. I really like it a lot

We've got a black trailer and its held up very well, no fades in it. Plus when its cold outside but the sun is shinning, you hop in the trailer and its already warm in there w/o the heater even on yet. haha It is going on 8yrs old now too.

Dark is good for heat absorbtion, yes.

What about dark in the summer though, during storage or other uses?

What about the additional moisture inside from melting snow in the winter - any problems with water in fuel tanks if left less than full?

I've pondered color selection if I ever get a trailer.

My black trailer is warm in the winter when the sun hits it, and even warmer (note hotter than he!!) in the summer under the same circumstances.
The logos I put on it when i bought it new in 2003 pulled the paint off the panels.....
Mine looks like it was built in 2003....

If its 90 and sunny outside, its like 130 inside. But hey then the trailer 2x as a sauna.
