I've got an 07 Apex which is bone stock. I am getting a powermadd pivot riser with a 10" block put on this week which should put me about 3.5-4" over the stock height. Hopefully I can get away with only extending the throttle cable on that one. Anyway my question is I am looking at putting on a Challenger Extreme track, but my buddy just put on GenII skis and says they are awesome and I should put them on first. Should I get the track or the skis? I cant do both right now.

Thats a hard one I did both and both are amazing I would probably do the skis first if your track is still in good shape

I have gen 1 and 2 They both have there place I would try the ski's first there are a few used sets showing up for 300 to 350. There great in powder but well set up snow takes more effort to turn and side hill. Good luck with whatever choice ya make :beer;:beer;

The Track.

I have both and the track makes the most difference.

Gen. 2 Skis are nice, lots and lots of floatation. In fact, I am beginning to wonder if they have so much floatation that side hilling is more difficult. They do not dart on the trail, they float over obstacles that might tear up a sled with stock skis in the early season, there are lots of things great about the Gen. 2 skis.

The Track will help you the most in the hills. Camo extreme 2.5 is a great track, it really hooks up and goes.
