opinion on hmk gear

think of becoming a dealer sell klim but looking for other alternatives Tobees or scotts or hmk what do you think ? i want positives and negitives

I just got all new HMK gear. I LOVE IT!!! My stelth pants are light weight with a removable liner, my ladies action jacket, removable liner, is lighter weight than most other brands, yet very tough. I do alot of boondocking and have not ripped either the pants or coat and I know there was a time or 2 that I thought for sure I had. The pants have pads in the knees and the butt, very thin I don't even notice them. I have been dry and warm after all rides and our snow is turning to nice wet spring stuff. My boots are awesome, keep my feet warm, the only way they get wet is from sweating....I also have the pack w/ shovel, I have used many different brands and this one seems to fit well, as a matter of fact after my last ride my back was not even sore, which is rare for me. I would recommend HMK and definately will continue to have HMK, I have KLIM pants as well, the KLIM are good but heavier than the HMK.

I like the style, the fit, cut etc of the HMK gear, and i know that company has insane customer service but, with there best product only having a 10,000 mm water piller/ breathability it's just not enough IMO. My riding gear now has 20,000, so i would'nt go backwards.

If ToBe, HMK, Scott, FXR etc step up there fabrics to the likes of GoreXCR as far as the breathability and waterproofness Klims in for a run. People always say everyone looks the same on the hill with all this Klim gear, its totally true, but the reason is the quality. If others step up to Klim's level, im sure alot of people would switch, myself included.

I wish these manufactures would start making tall sizes. Klim is the only one with decent gear in tall. I'd be happy to try them out, but not with bibs / pants that go just past the knees!

I love my Stealth jacket, and, like Darko, need maximum breathability. I have never felt "Clammy" with mine, and I sweat like a whore on dollar day.
