Operation 151"

I'm asking this here as well as in the Yamaha 4 stroke forum as nobody has given me any answers at all over there or over at Totallyamaha.com.I just finished my 07' Attak 151" extension project. I have a few questions though. I went with a 151x15x2.25" in a 2.52 pitch with wahl 8 tooth extrovert drivers. I cut the lugs down to 2" as instructed by Tom Hartman. I have removed the tunnel and heat exchanger protectors. The track does not ratchet but after getting on it hard when letting off I can hear a clicking noise. It sounds like the drivers ticking against the clips. Is this normal? I have checked for driver clearance of the rails even when the suspension is fully compressed and there is about 5-6" of clearance. I am using the stock Mono RA skid with 6* tip up extensions. Also I bought one of the tracks from an advertiser on here and it was supposed to be a fully clipped track but it's clipped every other. I didn't notice this until I had trimmed down the lugs to 2" so I'm screwed there but does it have to be fully clipped anyway as with the Wahl drivers it also utilizes the intro lugs as well. There is no vibration and the only time I hear the clicking noise is after hard acceleration when letting off completely. Here's a pic of the driver to rail tip clearance and the sled.

Thanks for the reply. I kind of thought that may be the case as I have heard some drivers are relieved like Ski-doos to keep this from occuring. Will the track being clipped every other window hurt or is that ok?

The track being clipped every other will be fine. Did you put new hyfax on? Sometimes the hyfax are a little long where the rear idlers are, and the track clicks where the rail meets the idler.

Yes I put on new hyfax but I cut them off exactly at the end of the rails and I angled them up towards the back as well. I do appreciate the suggestion though. This is my first time ever using extrovert drivers so I wasn't positive that every other window clipped would be fine or not. There is so much room between the drivers and the rails I suppose I could be close to stabbing but I don't know for sure. The sound really does sound like plastic hitting metal but only when I let off after some hard throttle application. Thanks guys for your input.
