Used motor oil rocks!! I have applied oil to the deck of my sled trailer the first few years after I built it. It continues to sit outside with the same wood since 1994. You do the math. I will need to power wash the deck this year and apply a coat or two more. On the underside, well, I just used undercoating from the spray can.

back when i had a open trailer i used hurrculiner. sorry about the spelling not sure if its right. its the truck bed linner you buy. took 1 gallon and a extra quart. 10 by 101 cost about $70 about 5 years ago. rolled it on and lasted 3 years i had it and the guy who bought it still looks great. trailer always outside, summer and winter, had grip too. atv and sleds
