oops!!!

been riding skidoos since they built the rev, now not used to the feel of an M series i was on the trail the other day and just gave her a little WOT WOT while standing up, and i dont know if the ski caught up on a little somthing on the trail or what but the sled jerked a little and i fell right of the greased pig.(yes those seats are slippery) now, my sled with no rider just had to smoke a nice big tree at about 15-20 mph. CRACK, SH*T. anyway, hood, bumper, airbox, and a few other things need to be replaced.so i tried driving it back to the trailer and it still ran good, but after a mile or so it started bogging real bad and finaly quit running. the airbox was all broken up and i wonder if it quit because it was sucking in a bunch of snow and moisture. i got it in my garage and took all the broken sh*t off but i cant get it started. i tried new plugs and it still wont start. i'm worried that i may have damaged the engine by running it like that. Any ideas why it wont start. thanx.

Make sure that nothing is holding a reed open. I know it sounds funny but I saw it happen on an M8 last year. One of the clips that holds the insulation was wedged in there.

If you were standing up, what did a slippery seat have to do with falling off? I can understand how you would not have been ready for the take off, I've read all about how the doo's all leave the cats in the snow dust! Now to your problem, ice in the throttle body is the first thing to eliminate, second would be you air temp sensor, if the air intake got smashed where is the sensor now? The barometric pressure hose should be cleared of kinks and ice. The throttle saftey switch could have taken a hit too. Then look for any pinched or broken wires. You can have spark and still not have current to the injectors because of broke or pinched wires in the lighting circut.

If you still had spark, the best bet is that you froze the injectors up. We had the same thing happen last year (not the I fell off my sled part) but we got some snow into the airbox through a screen vent and the sled was working fine then it just died. We checked everything over and then decided it was a lack of fuel. Ended up setting a small candle in the bottom of the box for 10 minutes, worked like a charm.

Good luck with that slippery seat, thats why I ride a Rev --- cause them damn M's always buck me off.
