Online Stock Trades - eTrade,Scott trade etc

Wondering what everyone's experience has been withonline trading.

Looking to take some of my dollars and open an account. I guess I am partial to eTrade as they have an application that can reside on my iPhone that allows me to instantly make trades, and not be tied to a PC

Wondering if those of you that have traded with one of these companies could give me some feedback, good or bad.

I had a bad experience with E*trade. I got involved when they first started out and there was not any quarterly fees or anything. Well to make a long story short, I just left my stocks and money sitting in there, years went by with out me doing anything to my account. In the meantime Etrade decided to start charging a quarterly fee if you are inactive. So the few hundred dollars in my money market account were pulled out as the quarters went on. Then it ran out. When I finally decided enough was enough I sold my stocks for way more than I paid for them and E*trade kept thier 7 or 800 bucks to pay up on my quarterly fees that had not been paid. Then trying to get my money wired out of my etrade account to my regular bank account was another fiasco.

I realize this was my own fault do to inactivity but it still p!ssed me off.
