Have a 2004 Summit 800 and my left hand warmer does not work. Wondering if anyone has come by this before and what the problem was? Inspected all wires and all seem to be ok. Any input would be great

My wifes 2006 rev went thru 2 sets of warmers last year. I finally removed the plugs and hard wired them. no problems since. My 2004 won't work on high. I guess it's next

I've had the same problem. To really identify the problem check the voltage powering that hand warmer. There should be three wires going to the heated grip. One will be common, another will be high, and the other low. Just fire the sled up and see if you get 12 volts from common to high and low (you will only get voltage on the side your switch is calling for). If you are getting voltage to the grip and it still doesn't heat then your problem is in the grip. If you don't have any voltage to the grip start tracing back through the electrical system. By the way mine just had an open circuit through the heating element inside the grip (the grip was bad). Just ordered factory grip to match the one that was still good.

I had this issue last year it was a bad ground connection near the steering post. The wire connector under the tape came apart

look where the wires go into the grip if that is on top its rotated
they are notorious for twisting when warm and riding hard
usually resultind in a short in the element under the grip or broken wire
get it fixed or dont use them can take out a voltage reg:beer;
