One more ride at St. Helens

Any one been up in the last few days? What is the parking situation at Marble mountain. How is the trail up. Is there much snow left?

Im thinking of going up on Friday.

Was up yesterday in the downpour. Marble lot hasn't been plowed but the rain has melted almost everthing off. Plenty of snow on the trail to Lahar but wear a kidney belt. I heard 1000' snow levels tonight so there may be something fresh for ya

Very nice. Too much sun and fluff up high. Go any where/ hero snow down low. Parking lot is great. One and a half lane road going up to Marble lot from Cougar.

Did you notice the plume of smoke coming out of the warming cabin? I wonder if they realized as they were sitting by the stove.

Yup lots o slat rats. Almost nowhere to park! I'm sure the single car parking lot was full. NOT! The mountain was awesome! Went to the crater ridge. Too bad I couldn't stay had to go down about 500' and help the wife get sled righted and dug out! Got some good pics though!

We rode out of Marble today and riding was great. Perfect weather day and the snow softened up by around 11:00. Bumpy trail back in but once you are off the trail it was awesome, only saw three other riders.
