One-man pontoon boat for fly fishing

I bought one from Cabelas, and I believe it's a cabelas brand. I like mine alot. Damn good workout meandering across a lake upright, feet a kickin But I use mine quite a bit!

Got mine from Cal-Ranch stores, think it was only like $180, not sure the brand. I don't fly fish, but they are fun for lure/worm fishin. Aired it up spring of 08, still holding same air to this day. Even fun to pic on the kids when they are in the float tube

Get one of these, then you can afford a nicer rod/reel.

There are a lot of good ones out there I prefer the bucks bag, I have a south fork and alpine been great tubes. little more expensive than some but worth it. I have a friend who got one from sportsmans warehouse and its been a great tube too. watch Craig's list and local paper as there are quite a few used ones around.

How much do those things weigh? If not too heavy they would be the ticket for packing on my back to the high lakes.

I have the Water Skeeter hunter one

only complaints are that its a bit heavy, but its durable for sure.

Oh and my back will ache after a few hours so I'll need to throw some cusion back there to bring the back of the chair forward more, tilts you back a bit too far.

There pretty heavy for packing but one of these would be the ticket for high mountain lakes weing in at just 11 pounds
