one lucky SOB (avy video)

Just because it is not mentioned in the video about us going over there does not mean we didn't. As soon as we shut the camera off we did take off over to where is happened. We were 99% possitive he was fine but we weren't sure that he was until I talked to him myself. We had to drive right by the Cabin so I stopped there and asked more people to come just in case.

First of all I was not judging anybody. During that whole video not once did I here anybody say or mention anything about going to help while it happened. All I could here over and over is what an idiot. Don`t think that any of you would not have hit that hill either. There were lots of tracks on it. If I was the guy filming and it were my friends there all you would of heard was guys loading up to go help. I did not read the other thread and all I had to go on was this vid. Also so ****ing what if there 8 of his buddies there already. What if he did get buried even if you were ten minutes away don`t think a few extra guys searching would make a difference. Go **** yourselves all of you. Got a problem with what I have to say just track me down on the hill, I`ll gladly defend anything I have to say face to face.

ooh tuff guy...
If you knew the situation, and the terrain, you would take your words back.

The hill that guy climbed, buried 2 others, one got killed, on Jan 16 of this year. It is steep, long, and just riding by it makes you always look over your shoulder.

You judging that "Don`t think that any of you would not have hit that hill either. There were lots of tracks on it." really shows your ignorance. If you feel that a few tracks on a hill makes it all seem better, let me know where you sled, so I can avoid the riding area all together. No sense ruining my weekend too.

I think that was an excellent video to post and I hope alot of people learned something from it, but I have to say people that climb that kind of thing are either dumb as hell or have a death wish and simply don't care. I'm your classic admitted Adrenaline Addict but there are a few slopes in the area I frequent that have killed before and will positively kill again, but guess what, people ride them "death bowl" every day. Even as nutty as I am I will never hit many of the proven to be treacherous slopes. I see the same thing everytime I visit Lionshead, you have several playing the odds in their favor and many who hit the 40 degree slopes just asking to be killed at any given moment.

IMHO, I wouldn't think the guy intentionally rode back into the slide on purpose. I would say he couldn't avoid coming down faster than the slide was going. If that hill was 40 degrees I bet he couldn't stop. Just my thoughts.
