Wow thing that surprised me the most about this vid is the people filming. Ya they might have been a distance away but even after the avy happened and none of them were sure they seen the rider make it out safely.
Not one of them showed or said anything about going to possibly help out
That is Sasksummit's video.. he posted it on here already... they were over a 10 minute ride away from the slide... they did see the guy get out of it... you just didn't see it on the camera. Besides, there were at least 8 of his buddies right there to help... don't judge until you have the whole story...
Thanks Alberta Boy. You have been on here enough to know how it all unfolded. You most likley know where I was standing.
from here in my lazy boy shielded by my keyboard I know exactly what I would have done in that situtation!
That would stop about half the posts on this forum! That is Sasksummit's video.. he posted it on here already... they were over a 10 minute ride away from the slide... they did see the guy get out of it... you just didn't see it on the camera. Glad he made it out ok, but IMO with the snowpack this year(am sure everyone is aware of it) That hill should have never been climbed. Also as for the guys filming and didn't go to help if you watch the guy did ride out the bottom. Just my .02.
