I have an 02 800 as well. I would love to have a new dragon but just not in the cards. You have a great sled and depending on what aftermarket parts it already has you can drop 2 to 3 grand and have an awesome sled that will outrun any new stock sled. That's what i did and would do again in a heartbeat.

Give a little bit more info, do you like to boondock, climb, jump, size, that sort of stuff it might help people give some recommendations to ya. I rode an 02 edge 800 last year and switched to 08 700 dragon and IMO it was the best thing Ive done. The ride is better, the track is better, efi (no re jetting), the seat is taller and narrower so no more bow legged tired legs at the end of the day, clutching is real good out of the box. Seat of the pants feels like it pulls harder also. Great pull and go sled. But I wouldn't mind having a xp after their bugs get worked out. Rode with 2 alittle bit today and they look like they are going to be some wicked climbers.
That theory has treated me pretty good over the years, whether it was a bike, quad, or sled. Support your local dealer!!
