Any Senior citizens out there still riding? Just wanting to know who some of the oldest riders are still riding. Give hope to us all and tell us old guys....how do you do it? :D

Wyoming T/A and Idaho Slim dont count, they are a freak of nature

So......who's collectiong S.S. and still riding there tails off? I hope to ride when im still 50 pending nuclear war and solar powered sleds and the global warming bit

I certianly am not the oldest I know, but if I'm not riding when 50 then next season is gonna really sux. Some days I feel being the older rider in our group (years age, not years riding), others I'm still ready to go when the younger ones are quitting.

We used to ride with our old Mac tools dealer who was in his mid 60s and that guy could ride with the best of them. He has since past away... good memories.

My dad is in his mid 50s and he hangs with us boys on the big hills.:D

There's hope Nate! I've rode with a very spry 92 year old this year. It was hard to keep up with him. And I'm not talkin little hills either. He's a goer and one of my heroes.

Rode with 2 guys from Idaho Falls that we met up with randomly on the hill, got talking to them and they graduated with my dad, so both were 60 and they were by far the best riders in the group, rode circles around all the 20 year olds.

Where's High Time...I'm sure when his geritol kicks in he will post his age.

I'm not sure what he'd say his secret is, but I know he stays active. He's put away the sled for this year, and has moved on to the four wheeler. That's just one more reason why he's my hero. He rides a M7 with electric start and wide simmon skis. :face-icon-small-win

Here's One

Oldest rider I know. And you probably know him too! Verlin Simmons. The founder of Simmons Flexi-Ski and the Gen II skis. He is 78 and still out rides most of us. I saw him go over the top of "Christmas Tree" in Northern Utah this year on his propane sled. He is awesome!
