Best reeds and top end set for 09 turbo m6 with pump gas.

Any suggestions??

Weisco pistons or SPX (SPX let me down once) or stock?

Reeds. stock or something more durable? The stockers have corners missing.

thanks.

install the m1000 reeds on top of good stockers.i used spi's in my turbo w/ great luck, but never ran over 10#'s.
if you burned her down, work on your box #'s.
i doubt the pistons failed due to quality issues.
I WILL NEVER USE WEISCO'S IN A TWO STROKE
get some cat or spi pistons the reeds, and before you run it again, figure out
where the burn down occurred and add some fuel to that circuit.a/f are almost a must when tuning, or at least egt's.

It obviously went lean on a pull but one cylinder clearly looks dryer than the other?? I tested the injectors and they seem to flow and shut off okay. Anyway the reason it went lean is the Holly fuel regualtor kept having the lock nut back off and the set screw was backing out which dropped the fuel pressure. Happened twice that day until I snugged it so tight it broke off. New set screw and thread locker now but it's a little late. The other strange thing is my wide band guage was showing 11-13 at full throttle. I thought it was a safe number. Also everytime I slowed the engine down it seemed to run very fat. I found an electrical connector to the temperature sensor 1/2 apart when pulling the motor down. I read that with this disconnected it will inject fuel like the engine is cold? Maybe this is why it seemed to flood at idle?

Oh the joy of learning the hard way.

Why do you say not to run wiseco?

actually i said I WILL NEVER USE THEM
based on my experiences w/ them being forged, tighter tolerances and needing
a looooong warm up as to not cold seize them.i am sure keith went thru a few as we had the same motor for a while.
huh i was just talking to my dad and he has never cold seized one or broke one. He has blown apart the stock non forged ones from blowing the skirts apart to pulling the cylender off and wondering where the piston went lol but with a turbo i would only use forged because there more forgiving.

i think if you would of had a digitron you may of seen the one cylinder get hot, af guages are made for 4 strokes imo.
