Yesterday I spent like 2-3 hours of my life vacuuming my enclosed trailer. Do "normal" people do this?

Oh, I MIGHT have even opened the hood of the sleds and vacuumed inside them as well:eek:

In addition, I shut the doors and started the one that I did not summerize this year...WOW I liked the smell!!

I am in need of some serious help I think;)

Yes, I have vacuumed out the enclosed trailer a few times myself!
I have a 3 place with only two sleds in it so it doubles as a sled shop too!
I keep it so clean inside I can crawl around on the floor while working on the sleds and never get dirty or kneel on a rock or something!

If I had an enclosed, I'd probably do the same thing. Seems fairly pointless on my 2 place open though :D As for the sniffing of the exhaust, that is 100% normal.

I am going to print this thread and give to my gf to prove there are "others"...she thought I had gone and lost my marbles this weekend:) She stated, and I quote, "To vacuum the garage is one thing, but the trailer...come one Ryan!"

So what if I like to keep my trailer squeaky clean!!:D Although, I can't wait to get it all dirty with two stroke smoke, oil, snow, and the likings!!!

I've been playing with my sled all summer. polish, polish some more. I blow my trailer out with the airhose but I like the vacuuming idea.

Yes there is something wrong with you. I tell the wife if she wants her sled maintained she has to vacuum it out :D as you get older you learn this kind of stuff but as far as the rest of it its perfectly normal

Alike alot of you ive been doing the same all summer. Walk into the garage and drool. Still waiting for the new one to come into the dealer. Nothing beats the smell of two-stroke exhaust

Not only did I vacuum it, I built a workbench in the front with cabinets underneath. The cabinets are for storage for my battery oil, belts, etc… I added a small vise on the bench. Then a pegboard behind it. After all that I decided to repaint the whole inside. It better snow before I decide to do something else! There are pics of this mess in my album…

I went into the garage yesterday and just sat on my sled for about an hour pretending to ride it, making sounds and all. Would've started it but my pipe is gone being modded. I might have just swept the trailer but thats me.

ur not crazy...we all are

ur good dude..i would have done the same
we need snow...like yesterday...
i had no intentions of polishing my tunnel....
i started w the clutch cover ...well the rest is history.......see below:

I sit on my sled in the summer and make engine noises, so I don't think it would be right of me to call anyone else crazy. You know the whole glass houses and stones thing...

i start hacking on my sled, i drill holes in everything i can get my hands on, all kinds of free weight loss.

i ride my sled around in the feild more than i should in the summer, i take it out more than once a week to race cars down the edge of the road, and i do just start it to smell and listen to it, and sometimes i will sit on it and talk on the phone

and sometimes i will sit on it and talk on the phone

And here I thought I was probably the only person in the world who did that

enis750 gave me an idea.
I'm on strike at work so I've got LOTS of time on my hands.
Time to get out the mag polish and powerwheel !!!

I'll bet I can polish every peice of aluminum and detail the crap out of my sled before I get back to work !

crazy would be sleeping in the trailer to be with your sleds...so your way far on the safe side

I bought a leaf blower for the enclosed this year instead of sweeping or vacuum. gives me more time to screw my sled up and tell my wife that i need new parts to fix it.lol

I am so glad that this thread was started !!!! I now have proof that I am not a complete nut Job. I showed this to my wife and she thinks that we all need serious help, but atleast she now understands:D
