I never thought we would see oil under the $100 mark again, but it's only about $8.00 away from it today. They are saying there is a worry of less demand worldwide.

I'll bet we don't see much impact at the pumps...

Yea I agree they won't drop it. Saw on the news yeterday in Ut, had one of the highest prices in the nation, that their gov was crackin down on inspections and since he started pushing they had dropped an avg of 6 or 7 sents. Even the suppliers admited that the stations were makin a bit more profit than usual in ut.

F them.
I'm reporting the station that I filled up at today. It was 4.29 on Friday and I thought that I should fill up, but didn't. Today it was $4.39. I put my card in the pump, and right when it was approved the pump went up $.05 and said that I pumped .022 (or something to that effect) gallons of fuel. I hadn't touched the lever.

Costco price today in Boise...Reg $3.729, Prem 3.929. Fuel was even less in Northern Idaho last week.

yeah but the chit still isn't the price it used to be at 110 a barrel.

someone is screwing us from somewhere in a new way....

Sept 2007, oil hit $80 per barrell and we paid in the $2.80's per gallon.
Sept 2008 oil hit 108 barrel and we pay $3.80 average right now.
All things taken equally we should be paying $3.31.
Somebody is pinching our sac and there is nothing we can do about it.

Now give me a green dot!!!!

Went to town to fill up the powerstroker today. drove past the truck stop sellin diesel at $3.99 headed toward the local coop (no service, just pumps) where i have a fuel card. got there and it was $4.29. turned around and drove the 1.5 miles back to the truck stop. if you ask them, they say the tanks are full of expensive fuel. they sure didnt leave the price cheap when the tanks were full of cheap fuel and the price jumped though did they. i think i'll take their fuel card and a jar of vaseline into the office and tell them to shove it where the sun don't shine, i'm tired of gettin screwed

I told my wife last spring, just because we have oil, the price per barrel will drop. My oil sources say "no place to get rid of it"....

I said this before and I will say it again.
You will see oil down around 70 a barrel by april of 09.
Heres what will happen over the next few months.
The Dems NEED oil to be high, the higher it is the better it is for them. They are loosing the war of words on Iraq. Their demestic proposals have pretty much fallen on def ears. Oil is their ace in the hole to beat the daylights out of the republicans. if the price of oil drops to the 70-80 a barrel range the will lose that also. The Dems will do everything in their power to block any new drilling under the guiss of saving the enviroment to try and keep oil high. Palosi is taking a BEATING by blocking all the demestic drilling proposals, she is the fall "guy" for Obama. If the price of oil does somehow stay high (say a huricane wipes out a few dozen rigs in the the gulf) then you will see the dems lift the ban on off shore drilling but ONLY if a dem is in the whitehouse.

The oil bubble can't be maintained very much longer without something bad happening.

Gas is 3.65 and deezal is $4.16. Hasn't moved in 3 weeks. Drive 30 miles and save .17 on deezal and about a nickel on gas. Makes a lot of sense don't it????
