Oil tank & Oil lines

Hey Guys,

I bought a used 2011 Assault with 300 miles on it. I noticed the oil tank was full of the poo blue semi-synthetic. I put about 30 miles on it to make sure it was drinking it and noticed the level drop.

So my question is, I sucked all the poo blue out, and filled with ves gold. I looked at the oil supply line coming out of the tank and there is about an inch long air pocket between the residual blue in the line and the ves gold in the tank.

What do you pro pro's think?

Thanks for all the help.

Take the key out and pull over till the bubble moves into the engine. We did this on a m-series once. It takes a lot of pulls.

unhook the oil tank from the clutch cover. Tip the bottle so where the oil line attaches to it is on the bottom. The bubble should work its way back into the tank. May have to squeeze the line a bit.
