I was just wondering if anybody has had a problem with the oil tank cracking around the bottom oil line outlet on the nytro's and if there is a fix for it or just buy a new tank. Also is anyone running any other kind of oil or just the yamalube? Thanks for any input.

Yes there are more and more tanks starting to crack mine cracked around the bottom fitting so I have designed and started building after market oil tanks check out my thread thanks sledhead162
Yep there known to crack there. The oil can is a P.O.S. I have a friend that has a fab shop that's gonna make me a new one.
mine cracked 2 years ago and i just reweld it and has been fine since just a that type of soldered they do just doesn't hold up

yep comon prob jb weld works to fix the prob did mine its been fine since iam running castrol 0-30 syntec this year.lots of guys run mobile 1 5-30 or 0-40 or amsoil 0 -40 atv -snowmobile.
Ditto! Mine cracked last season and I re-welded it and no problems since. The material is very thin so you need a good aluminum welder.
