Oil tank breather leaking!

Does anyone know what size the breather hose is that comes out of the oil tank? (2009 summit 600 Etec) Its likley the same on a 800.

I filled my oil tank full and after my last ride i noticed that the engine is covered in fresh oil.
It seems to be coming out of the white check valve at the end of the oil tank breather hose.
I am planning to extend the hose and route it out the bottom of the sled. My sled is at a buddys shop so I cant go and measure it right now.

Has anyone else had this happen??

Thanks

it was happening to mine so like you said i bought some coolant hose from NAPA, and i routed it down past the chaincase to below the footwell and zip tied. Now it only leaks when the temperature really swings or if the trailhead gets really bumpy in the back of my truck. I wasn't going to settle for that mess all over my engine bay.

3/16 inch inner diameter fits nice and snug

Mine has never leaked that I've noticed, rolled it plenty of times. My resivoir was leaking however out of the cap so I did an insert, I'd bet on that if it keeps happening...

Thanks for the replys.
It was for sure coming out of the check valve. I extended the hose and routed it out the bottom. It was a real shame it leaked because under the hood used to be spotless.

oil leak

Mine did this also. I had oil all over. I didn't notice it and tell it was coming out from underneath of the headlight on top of the air box. I routed mine down next to the gas tank vent line and out the little plug that goes to remove the sway bar.
