Oil Sitting in Bellypan, 2012 Pro??

I noticed i have "oil" sitting in the belly pan. It looks like it is coming out of a black hose. Is it just a vent? Was riding SkiDoo's so I have no clue about these Polaris things.

It's normal. Power valve solenoid. I routed mind out side the sled, comes out right behind the front left upper a arm mount.

Like snowman said it's either power valve solenoid vent or its coming out of y pipe and exhaust pipe donut. Feel the bottom of that joint you more then likely will feel alot of oil coming out there. Both easy fixes, extra springs and new donut and extend vent line as stated

Exactly what they said. If you haven't had the recall done on the 12's I'd recommend doing it just for peace of mind. An oil line that runs between the two throttle bodies wasn't properly fastened anywhere so it moves around and can split, melt, whatever. I had mine done they just took it apart and fastened the line down properly! All free of course.

I ran the hose outside the sled, and every time i stopped and check it the end was frozen. Sled ran funny. How do you guys keep it from freezing.

This is what i found out too after trying to route the hose to the outside. The ice would plug the end of the hose and not let it vent. I finally just left it in the stock location. Runs great ALL the time now - not just when the ice ball has melted =)

Does anyone else's sled leak black oil out of the silencer tip? Sled was fogged in spring by previous owner. I have since rebuilt top end and still a black 2 inch diameter puddle after I bled coolant system. Cleaned that up and still makes a tiny puddle on the ground in a weeks time in the garage.

I was also leaking out of the y pipe but put in some new donuts and installed with some copper gasket sealer and that fixed that problem
