Oil Restrictor

anyone have any info on what to run for a restrictor in the oil pressure line going to the turbo ? ive heard lots of different opinions......anything from a 35 pilot jet to nothing at all......
 
I use a 127.5 Mikuni round jet drilled out with a #60 drill bit. This will make a 40 thou hole. Garrett says use .035" 40 thou is close enough and works fine.

What type of turbo/kit thou? If its a garrett, a .035 like Paul said. But if its a turbo that doesnt have ball brgs like a garrett, not needed. Yrs ago, had a pos cpr kit. It smoked bad, had to install pilot jet inline on oil line. Since then sold that junk turbo kit, pieced my together now. Used an Impulse header & oil drain setup. Turbo smokes again. I had to upgrade drain line from 3/8 to 5/8 to stop smoking issues. But on an Impulse kit the drain line is longer than most with turbo's around the handle bars. As it drains to the mag housing. Boondockers drain line goes to the same place, but the oil line is less than 6 inches. My drain line is 2.5ft or so. MCX uses totally different turbo, but use a oil return pump. Was told the rx1/apex have 80psi oil pressure when the engine is cold.
