Oil restrictor or not??

Put a new center section (2871 w/billet wheel) in my Apex. It has never had a oil restrictor in it. Was thinking I might put one in. Do I need it or will I be fine without it. I know Garrett recommends one but, I am looking for what everybody's opinion is. If I need one what size should I run??

i always run .035. If you don't have one it usually pushes oil past the turbo seals and into the intake. Yammis push 70 psi oil pressure and the turbos were meant for half of that.

Yes, ball bearing turbo's only need <10 psi oil pressure.

Even if you had a journal bearing turbo, they only require ~45 psi oil pressure.
