Oil Question?

I have a 14 pro and I have been using shell Syn oil. I switched back to POLARIS VES RACE oil. Dumb question but I can run the ves on the oil tank and the shell oil in the gas( I use a splash in the gas just to be safe), I have a bit of shell leftover. Also is it possible to over oil the pros? I turned my pump up a couple turns and I run a splash in the gas. Cant afford an axys so I need to keep the ol' pro running!!!

Sure, burn it up in there. Itll be fine.

As far as over oiling, again, you should be just fine unless youre getting so much that youre starting to get fouling problems etc.

Monitor your useage so you have an idea how much you are injecting.

Yes, you can over-oil. E3 iridium's are more sensitive to over-oiling, too. If you're running ~35:1 at the pump, and 100:1 in the fuel tank, you will foul the E3's within a couple of rides, but regular plugs will be fine for at least 500 mi. JMPE. FWIW.

As stated, no problem mixing oil types between fuel and oil tank. I've run VES in the oil tank and Legend dino in the fuel when under warranty in three pros, never an issue.
