Anybody have any tricks to get access to the oil pump. I can feel it but how do you see the marks to adjust it if necessary? Does the service manual have any ideas??

with the carbs off, and the PTO side carb adapter off I can see it just fine. Mirror helps even more so with seeing the marks. This is on a 600HO sled obviously.

Check out my TECH TIPS FOR 600/700/800 CFI's Free Mods & Best Bang for the Buck Mods thread under the "INCREASING YOUR IQ "sticky" at the top of the IQ section.

There' a pic of the oil pump posted, took it when I had the engine out.

Above poster was correct, monitor the fuel/oil ratio first, then re-adjust.

Use the alignment marks ONLY as a starting point.

My 2007 DRAGON 700 was 37:1 from the factory, 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 turns on the 10 mm nuts and it's at 57:1 now, and I'm comfortable with that.

Hope this helps
