Is it as simple as removing everything associated with the injection system and plugging the holes??? What do I need to be aware of before I do it???

I know there's guys out there that have done this. Just looking for a little assistance before I do it myself.

Thanks in advance guys.

I have been wondering the same... I would love to get rid of that leaky POS oil tank that holds enuff oil for 6 rides!!! I hear you must do something about keeping the bearings lubed...
I can't believe this thread got no replies!!!!!!!

You need a gasket, block off plate A piece of hose and a little oil resivor. The hose and oil resivor provides a oil bath for the water pump shaft and the plate is to block the hole where the oil pump was. You can order the parts from a 2008 or 2009 600rs sled they run premix. The crank bearings are packed with grease.

There is also two oil ports on the block that connect to the oil pump when you remove the pump run a piece of hose from one port to the other. Look at the Microfiche for a RS It will give you the part numbers and a good visual.

Is it true you have to pull your motor to be able to do this? Heard something about having to have the motor tipped forward to be able to fill the hole properly?? Where do you mount all the stuff that is attached to the tank? Do you need a piece for where the pull rope goes through the tank?
