Oil in mower question

I have a newer Honda mower and for oil it takes 10 30. Can I use the Honda Gn4 motorcycle oil? Or should I use the Honda Power equipment oil? Both are 10 30.

its a mower. chances are as long as you keep oil in it that thing will outlive all other things you own.

I sometimes re use my bacon grease to use in my mower. That way when I'm done mowing, I am hungry for some bacon and eggs.

No. It won't matter. In fact, as long as it's engine oil it probably won't make too much difference on whether its 10w-30, 10w-40, 15w-40 etc.

Well, there's a first time for everything....First "What oil to use in my push mower?" thread I've ever seen.
Personally I only use the best, Klotz, Amsoil, must be synthetic for sure. And do NOT stray away from the strict weight requirements. If it says 10W-30, it must be 10W 30, NO exceptions! lol

the worst part is that we are worrying about mower maintenance right now in the bozeman area, my sled is away other then maybe 1 ride in cooke yet this spring.
