Oil Color

I just bought an '09 RMK from a rental company, it has 70 miles and the original tank of fuel with premix in it. the oil tank has a red colored oil in it. i am curious what kind of oil this might be so i know for break in purposes, if it is synthetic or a cheap oil i want to get it outta there for the new update break in. Is "polaris blue" or "polaris gold" actually red in color? or what else could it be? could very well be a cheaper oil since it was a rental sled. ideas?? thanks!

i did, they run torco synthetic blend but with only 70 miles and the oil reservoir being down only about 1-2 inches, i am thinking it could be the original oil from the factory, which would make it polaris oil right? do they make an oil that is red in color??

"is polaris "racing" oil red in color? the bottle is red. would polaris put this in from the factory? it is a sled some racers ride i guess....???

No, it would have gold in it from Poo, not the racing oil. My guess is that you have both mixed. I wouldn't sweat changing it out, esp. since they come with gold when new.
