oh look who is back

My parents had the same problem, they live on the outskirts of sandpoint and thought they had 1 or 2 coming in at night. they ended up trapping 12 or 15 of them over the summer and took them out so my bro in-law could chase them with his hounds.

It's all about the bait

we have had a problem with coons for years. My buddies wife is a vet and said that coons can't digest some spices, so we wrap chili seeds the hot ones in pieces of bread so they look like little perogies then put them out in the yard. Ever see a coon with a flamin azz before? they shat themselves silly and never come back. saves ammo to.:D

i yelled my dog to come out but his eyes is blind at night but can see good during day light.. lol hes old.. prody 10 yrs old

I wouldn't send a dog to kill a coon. Most of the time this works, but coons are smart and I've seen and heard about much bigger dogs coming out on the loosing side of the fight...... just use a gun (or country music).

Coons can play havoc with a dog. If you live close to water definitely keep your dogs away from them. A coon will lead a dog out in the water, then climb on the dogs head and drown it. Either shoot them, or trap them and then shoot them.
