Duck Mountain always has snow.......been there a couple times and it would be brown near Yorkton but 2 feet of white powder around Duck Mountain:D

always is. last ride was april 21st for me but i couldve rode till may 7th on the lakes and ditches if i really wanted to. snow is coming and its going to be real soon.

edit:

Yorkton never has snow. everytime i go there for stuff its brown and looks like fall.

Yorkton use to get snow. Those days are gone. I haven't rode their since high school.

1.5 hours north of Yorkton where I'm from we always have tons more snow than Yorkton. Unfortunately we only got a skif that day and it melted the next.

funny how most of the snow always passes just south or north of yorkton:rolleyes:my mom & dad use to own the king George in Melville.how are the deer doing out there this year almost time for my yearly trek to saskatawan.:D:beer;:beer;

Lots of Deer out...I'm from around Canora. lots of jumper in the pastures of Good Sprit this year again. I was most surprised to see 3 groups of moose between Canora and Rama last weekend...rarely see that many moose in teh same trip. They seem to be crawling further South every year

my great uncle used to own a hotel in Melville....his name is Ron Milani.Your parents probably now him.

i love how the sask portion of the ducks gets less then the manitoba side. lets us play more.

actually one day we left wellman lake and went to madge and by the time we got to madge we were seeing grass in some spots. got back to wellman and there was a foot of fresh powder and no grass.

lots are skipping madge or there staying there then heading to the north ducks on the mb side. more play areas and snow.
