Wow Oct 29, that's f'n early! Good job!

Smokindave, I see your from Malakwa. I'm thinkin about a backcountry cabin over the holidays up around there. Can you recomend one that would sleep 8 or more?

Thanks for your help

Yes There is a lodge 3km. east of Sicamous that caters to sledders only.14 beds in a beautiful lodge with a full shop. They have hot tub pool table and one big mother of a bbq. It is owned by a local named Rene St.Onge that knows the mountains between Sicamous and Revy. His specialty is Eagles Pass with Turtle mountain just a short ride away.
In my opinion this is the best sledder oriented place I have ever stayed.
You will not be disapointed.Hope this helps. There # is 250-836-2860 and book your room with Manny she will look after you better than your Mom.
Cheers,
Dave

If you are serious PM me for pictures

Thanks for the reply SmokinD. That lodge sounds sweet, but I'm thinking of a backcountry hut style cabin. Something like the Dave White hut but where they allow sledding. Where we would bring in our own food and sleeping gear etc...
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Ya kinda like Silent Pass(McMurdo) but maybe not quite as ghetto! We wanna bring the ladies in; knowhatI'msayin.

Plus we have friends comin in from Vernon so somewhere between Revy and Sicamous would be ideal.

Hey bigwilly you made me work today going through all the hand outs I picked up at last years snow show.
In Revy there is the Smokeybear campground Resort. They have Authentic log cabins that sleep up to eight people. Fully self contained with wireless internet access and outdoor hot tub. Phone # 1-800-710-9573.http://www.smokey-bear.com

In Salmon Arm there is the Captains Cove Marina 250-832-5224. They have 5 cabins with internet, satellite tv,http://www.salmonarmresort.com

In Sicamous there is Narrows Village with much the same stuffhttp://www.narrowsvillage.com

If I can find any more I will post for you.Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Dave

PS( the smokey bear one looks like it is the nicest.)
