I got started snowmobiling in the early 60's on a Polaris Mustang owned by my scoutmaster in Boy Scouts. I was about 10 years old at the time. Needless to say, I have been hooked ever since. I am now in my late 50's.
My current machine is a 2012 Arctic Cat XF800 Sno Pro. I also own three old Polaris XLT's which I am in the process of rebuilding for future vintage machines.
We ride mostly off trail in northwestern Minnesota. Our favorite places to ride are through swamps, across farmland that is in the CRP, ditches, and up on the Big Pond (aka Lake of the Woods). We also ride in Ontario.
I buy every issue of SnoWest that comes out and also Sledhead. My future plan is to subscribe to both so I can have them delivered to my home.
