AN OPEN LETTER TO
PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike
any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive
Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no
visible signs of support.

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth
growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus
don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned
yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to
publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail..

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America '
crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style
country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system
with a government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly
capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose
that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of
living in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics
against certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from
challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider
opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both
omnipotent and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything
you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the
Limbaugh's, Hannity's, Oreilles and Becks who offer opposing,
conservative points of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will
probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Lou Pritchett

This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it.
Big surprise. Since it hit the internet, however, it has had over
500,000 hits. Keep it going. All that is necessary for evil to succeed
is that good men do nothing. It's happening right now.*

Assuming an independent canidate is unfortunately still unelectable, who is your suggestion for the Republican party?

The only reason that is true is because the american public refuses to let go and elect someone outside the 2 "main" parties which are actually more or less one in the same. This country will fail because people refuse to change, and can't be bothered with actually doing something about what's happening.

Our society now days is a joke, everyone cant be bothered to care about anyone other than themselves and the general view on everything by most is to let the next guy care and do something about it... Instead the answer is to complain to anyone and everyone that will listen, but still do next to nothing to change the actual problem. That simply wont work. If America ends up failing its because WE LET IT. In the days of our founding fathers this crap would NEVER fly, because the people simply WOULD NOT LET IT or stand by and watch as it happened.

Contrary to popular belief you do have a voice and a choice... want things to change, tired of the way things are. MAKE the change through ACTIONS.
Doing nothing is going to accomplish a thing.

Osama is DEAD and Obama gets the credit???????

Seems wrong doesnt it.

Its funny. Not a single news program I have watched regarding this has giving him any credit towards this what so ever. I never was a Huge George W fan but I will admit that its because of HIM that this was accomplished... That and the end of Saddam. He might not have always been the smartest guy, but you do have to give him some credit for something. Thats more than you can say for Obama.

Happens on his clock, yeah. He gets credit.

Bush gave him the clock.

IMO, Obama deserves nothing at all. He should just congratulate the soldiers that did the job, and bow his head in the utmost respect. But we all know that he is not that type of man. He said what he said in a political ploy to win another term.

The SEALS that killed that POS should have just followed the SSS policy and left it at that.

Shoot, Shovel and Shut-up.

But You would have gave bush credit right?

For the record he does not get the credit for killing him in a physical sense he gets the credit for making it happen on a political level.

Haters are gonna hate.

Wrong again, MHA. I would not give Bush credit for killing a tyrant. It was a team effort among the elite NAVY SEALS. And Obama didn't make it happen on a political level. It was started a decade ago (chasing the bad guy) long before any of us knew who Obama was. Go ahead and accuse me of being a hater, cause I do hate Obama and everything he stands for. He is bad for America, bad for Americans and I truly think he'd sell his soul to get ahead, Hell he already has.

Like I said. Haters are gonna hate.

He did what the last two Presidents couldn't do. Capture or kill bin laden.

I am sure you would be the first to blame Obama if there was a terrorist attack on american soil right? I mean Obama isn't the actual guy protecting us, why should he be blamed?

It's a two way street.

He didn't do sh*t. He didn't tell them where Osama was hiding. He didn't read through all of the intel to finally discover the cave. He didn't pull the trigger. And he certainly wasn't there. Just because I don't agree with you, makes me a bad guy? Then this entire Forum is full of bad guys, cause the only one I know that does agree with you is Ruffy.

Would I blame Obama for a terrorist attack? Probably. Because he is setting the country up for one, easily. Did you blame Bush for 911? I bet you did. Don't go quacking at me, when you do the very same thing against Bush, Palin or any other Conservative that says or does something that you don't like.

Quite frankly, I'm getting a touch tired of you assuming that I hate, although you got me on this one. I do hate Obama and I'll be the first on to admit it. Won't hide it either. I wouldn't waste my piss on him if he was on fire. But you assumed I was being hateful last week on FB when I never said a hateful thing, I just didn't agree with you and that was your defense, I was a hater. I can honestly say that there are a few folks on here that I don't agree with and I don't hate a single one of them, and that includes you. You can't say the same.

Let me wipe that tear. I am simply saying that no matter what Obama does, you will hate in him.

He is the president of the country he gets credit. He didn't pull the trigger but he certainly set the agenda that he would continue to look for Osama.

The past two presidents administration couldn't find him. Give credit where credit is due.

For the record I never singled you out. Poor Ralph is being attacked. I just think you saying Obama did nothing is silly. You admitted you would blame him for an attack, but you won't give credit for stopping one. Lose lose huh?

Trust me anything you say, I do not take as an attack. He didn't stop an attack at all. If anything, the martyrs will become more dedicated and persistant to attack. America will have to step up and watch more closely. And the Obama admin did not find him. It was a collaborated effort by men and women sacrificing and risking their lives in a most deadly environment. Not by some suit wearing, pencil pushing pansie sitting in a climate controlled office in the White House.

I'm gonna agree here. Obama did not personally locate and take out Osama, it was the men and women on the ground who followed the leads and tracked him down. He does deserve credit for being behind the desk and authorizing the military to act on the information, but that's it... All the momentum for finding Bin Laden has been building for many years, Namely under President Bush's watch.

Either way, I am glad they got him and the U.S. Servicemen and Women and the informants are the ones who deserve the real credit for a job well done:beer;
