Obama didn't Denounce anyone. What moron thinks a man goes to a minister for 21 YEARS and suddenly realizes he disagrees with him. The minister became political suicide, so he dumped him.
Make the system more efficient?? Oh, I see. He wants to make socialism the accepted way of life.

as for his tax plan. I suggest you do a little homework. In order to do what he wants, he would have to increase the taxes on everyone making more than 42,000 a year. Go to the General Accounting Office research office and LOOK IT UP.
As for the global green market. Again, if done right, you would be correct. However, if you like Al Gore and all he stands for, you will REALLY love Obama. You can kiss your riding goodbye. Drop the feel good argument about not fair... there is much to go into on this particular subject, but most of the gains in the last 10 years have been in the rich class.. the middle class are actually making less money then they were a few years ago. So who benefited the most? The people at the top that is who. The honest working Americans have not benefited, and as shown with the bailout, we are taking a hit again..

I have an article from someone at work, that they got from their CEO.. it stated that the rule that changed in 2003 that had a bid impact on this whole mess.

He wants to let the bush tax cuts expire which WILL raise the taxes on everyone (the bush tax cuts were across the board, so letting them expire will raise the taxes across the board).
Again, his plan is only to let them expire for those that make more then 250K.... not everyone
This is ONE of the BIGGEST lies he and his supporters tell on a daily basis and let me tell you why. FORCED HEALTH CARE. I run a small business, other than my debt my health insurance is my largest expense. He is going to force me to pay for health insurance for my employees. So which employees will I have to provide it for? The full time? The part time? or both? If I only have to provide it for full time then you better beleive I will reduce ALL of my full time guys to part time. If I have to provide it for part time as well you better beleive that most of them will be laid off and it could put me out of biz because part time employees dont make enough money for the company to justify what it will cost. This is a serious threat to our economy and by my guess will skyrocket unemployment into the 20%+ range or higher instantly. By so doing he will bankrupt social security because low paying jobs do much to support soc sec. He will cause a run on the unemployment claims and this will send us into the great depression all over again, if Barney Fwank hasnt sent us there already. Health Insurance is a luxury you earn, NOT A RIGHT and no where is it listed in our constitution.

Freak, you are exactly right. I ran my own grading business for 26 years. Fifteen years ago I could take home .50 to .60 cents on a dollar and when it got down to .10 cents I was my only employee and I got by another 10 years this way but my equipment is now all 30 years old. This statement is crude but I firmly believe it. How can the people of this country think you can knock the dog poop out of business day after day, year after year and expect us to keep writing out the paychecks for the middle class, let alone give them health insurance? If You elect That damn Obama this country may well not survive as we know it now and that is no BS! And not only that, Obama has put the desegregation movement back 40 years. The rest of his race ought to be real proud of him and Michelle.

Ruffy what in the FRAC does this article have to do with anything. I've read Ollie's statement several times, I can't find anywhere that he blamed the mess on minorities. This article is a basic heart string redirection article. What Ollie's talking about is guaranteed loan to poor people that couldn't afford them. This entire article somehow tries to make it a race issue. It's not. It's an issue of forcing lenders to lend to poor people. I'm all for helping the poor better themselves, but when you have a loan ratio quota to meet, you make bad small loans, so you can continue making big loans.

Obama wants to create tax credits and reduce taxes on anyone making less than $50K a year. There all over the place. Earned income credit increase. 10 percent credit for home loans. Reduce or eliminate payroll tax, the last tax they actually have to pay (although it's not suppose to be a tax). Zero taxes on the elderly. Elimanate tax altogether on 10million low end workers, a $1000 economic stimulus give away to the Not-Rich, a $500 payroll economic stimulus credit to the Not-Rich, ........
Notice how many tax cliffs Obama is placing in the system. No tax below this line, then full tax suddenly. So, if your a senior making $49K a year, you sure as heck better not start making $50.1K per year, or suddenly your taxed fully. Cliffs make people work less. There's lots of examples of this, the $250K cliff is a big one also.
Can you say class warfare. He'll reach across the aisle, as long as you are poor.

Good points.. but don't the above examples try and make it more worthwhile for people to work instead of just live off the government? If a person gets off welfare and gets a job because of this.. isn't that a net benefit to the system, and aren't we (Americans) going to be paying less?

Yes, the intension of earned income tax credit (EITC) was that anyone willing to go get a job, that didn't earn a lot, could get some money to reward them for working. This is a good idea in my book, it gets people out there being productive and contributing, with the hope being that they would eventually earn more and get off EITC. But, the problem is, they didn't establish a minimum qualification, or definition of what is "earned income". Show me this.

There are maximum qualifications, but no minimum qualifications. Literally, if someone hires you to do 1 hours worth of work, you can get up to $4700 put right in your pocket, for 1 hours work. This just invites theft, IMO.
By the way, this was intended as a temporary relief back in 1975, it just never ended. Now that minimum wage is increasing again, they only talk of raising EITC. Why are temporary reliefs to the rich, called giveaways, (ie capital gains) yet giveaways to the poor called "earned"?
If you wanted to fix it simple, only give it to people that work some minimum number of hours a year, or pick up garbage as a community service. Say 600 hours a year to start with. More hours, more earned.
