Obama is a terrorist

I am Canadian and I don't follow US politics that closely but you're not saying much for your country if you believe that one of the 2 guys running for president is a terrorist. Terrorists blow $hit up, hijack planes and kill innocent people. If half of your voters are calling for a terrorist to lead their country, we are all in trouble.

THe real terrorists are probably rolling around laughing at this.

Keep the "terrorist" name to real fundamentalist terrorists. Calling the other guy running in the election a terrorist only legitimizes the real terrorist's bull$**** clause and helps to get the term into the mainstream of acceptable ideology.

Just the opinion of a Canadian.

I like how the guy was going to sue the school system over the fact that his son can't wear that shirt...

Yah, great example there pops... and you think the liberals are the only problem.... Got Right Wing Wacko? :rolleyes: Cause they do....

People love to try and use the 1st amendment for that type of stuff, but they fail to realize that it has bound....

SO call him a Douche canoe and not a terrorist. Never heard of a douche canoe strapping a bomb to himself and blowing up a mall full of innocent people.



I got sent home from school about 35 years ago for wearing a t-shirt that had a picture of a big block on it that said:

"Injection is nice but I'd rather be blown".

Things have changed.

You are absolutely right, and your logic would apply to this story IF the shirt actually called Obama a terrorist. Read it again.:beer;:D
 
So I agree that a terrorist's best friend may not be a terrorist but to be even mentioned like that makes me wonder if this kid has his own opinion or just the one his Dad has.
 
First off, the shirt said a Terrorist best FRIEND. Not that obama is a terrorist.
The political wing of the terrorist groups as well as the head of the Iranian military wing has openly supported Obama as well as openly saying they hope he wins.
Thus, Obama, a terrorist best friend.

Ruffy, what is the difference between this kid wearing a shirt that besmirches Obama and a kid burning a flag on campus??
THe school will let the kid burn the flag without a word being said.
I think dad should sue the school. I will bet you a months pay if the kid had worn a shirt that said McCain, a terrorist best friend, the school wouldn't have said a word.

There is a big difference, but we aren't talking about censorship due to content only. Schools make kids turn their shirts inside out when the shirt becomes a distraction.... which is it sounds like it was.... The same is done with Big Johnson shirts.... it doesn't mean that the teachers don't find them funny, it just makes their job more difficult. I mean these are 5th graders here...

That plus the fact that the kid had the option of turning it inside out, or being suspended, and choose to be suspended....

Sounds a little like the old man is taking advantage of his son.... All I know is in 5th grade, most people didn't care about politics.....

About the McCain issue, again the point was the disturbance in the classroom... if the shirt had the same effect, it would have been dealt with accordingly.
