O7 sc apex exhaust question

I have an 07 sc apex with hauck exhaust and stock exhaust exit/seat I want to make the exhaust dump into the tunnel so I can put on a different seat.My question is can I modify this exhaust to do that.Sugestions or Ideas appreciated

take the exhaust out cut the two pipes off that go to the side turn the muffler upside down and reinstall. make a block off plate for the tunnel and buy a boss or mtn mod seat and yer dun!! have the bracket for the stock seat setup in the pics that i never used if your interested..
