O5 m7 Fuel designation

I have to run ethanol based gas in my sled. Does that mean that I need to disconnect the connector? Is the connector in the EfI box THingy? I am just starting to work on my own sled so I like to check. How bad will it hurt my sled to run gas with ethanol in it?

Unplug the ethanol plug and keep on riding!

Is the plug in the computer box? Can you tell me where the plug is exactly?

It's a weather proof black slip connector behind the computer among the wires coming out of it. Wire coming to the connection should be gray, wire coming out the other side of the connection should be black with a blue stripe. Just unhook the connection. But here's the skinny, I also have an '05 and last year got in a pinch and had to run some E10 (10 percent ethanol mix) for a bit and when I un plugged the connector, my sled ran like junk. The '05s are pretty rich from the get go so if you aren't running any major mods your probably gonna get along just fine with out unhooking it. That said, probably check your plugs like I did to make sure your safe. Better yet, pull whatever strings you have to to get your hands on non ethanol fuel.
